The molecular principles underlying personal genomics and the human genetic diseases adrenoleukodystrophy, neurofibromatosis and Tourette's syndrome will be discussed in the context of their representation in popular films. Students will be required to make a presentation for credit. You will meet on alternate Thursdays for two hours, for a total of five meeting days.
