(This course will meet for 11 meetings total)
Depending on the environment and needs of an organism, different visual tasks are required. This class is designed to get you thinking about how the visual systems of different organisms have evolved to perform these tasks. In this seminar we will focus on the human/primate visual system, but also compare the visual systems of different animals and discuss how different visual strategies have evolved depending on the natural environment of the animal.
