This course will use the topic of fish swimming to introduce
students to the field of biomechanics. The course will
consist of three 1-hour lectures on 4/1,4/8 and 4/15, followed
by a one day field trip to the Long Beach Aquarium on a
weekend inApril. Students will be responsible for composing a
research proposal that is based on their observations of fish
at the aquarium.
