features of plants and animals that occur in southern
California. Pollination biology of native and introduced
plants at the Arboretum will be investigated, and the San

diversity and feeding behavior will be investigated at the
IRWD Duck Ponds. We will meet on May 1 at 9:00 AM at the
Arboretum, and spend the entire day in local environments. To
prepare for the trip we will have a SINGLE 2 hour meeting the
day before, on Friday, April 30, from 2 PM to 4 PM.
