In this seminar, we will examine the ways that humans are
altering the global environment and how these changes affect
the animals, plants, and microbes living in Orange County. The
class will meet in the classroom on Monday, March 29 and
Monday, April 5 to discuss readings on global change, and will
take a field trip on Saturday, April 17 to nearby Crystal Cove
State Park to observe affects on local wildlife. The field
trip is required to pass the course.
