A series of 5 one hour lectures on the Origin of Life: Prebiotic Evolution (also known as chemical evolution) will be given by the
professor beginning on Monday March 30 and proceeding at that time on every day of that week at 5 PM, until Friday April 3. The students will then have until Monday May 25 to research and compose a 2000 word paper on the topic An Alternative to Oparin - Haldane. During the week of May 25 through May 29, every day at 5 PM, the papers will be
presented by their author orally to the seminar group and discussed critically.
