Soils are critical for sustaining agriculture, purifying our
water, and supporting plant growth. In this seminar, you
will learn how soils form and how they function. There will
be a one-hour meeting in the classroom on Thursday April 8
about the basics of soil science. Then we will have a one
day field trip on Saturday April 10 from 9am to 5pm.
