You will learn three things in this class.
1) You will learn the basic strategies that pathogens have
evolved to attack us, and the ways in which we defend
ourselves. 2) You will learn to efficiently search the
biomedical literature online. 3) You will learn how to prepare
and present a short but effective (and fun) powerpoint
presentation on the disease of your choice. This class will
meet for 2 hours during the first 5 weeks of the quarter.
