Title Brain Myths
Description The goals of this class are to introduce students to the true science behind some of the myths about how the brain and the mind works. Using clips from movies and examples from the media, we will discuss issues like: Do I only use 10% of my brain? Memories are like pictures from a camera, aren't they? So, what about that guy who bumped his head and didn't remember his own name? Be prepared for class discussions on what makes your brain tick and the culture behind how these brain myths evolved.
