Title Genetics Today
Description We will discuss how biological research relates to our everyday life. Topics will include biomedical research (i.e. drug design), plant biotechnology (i.e. pesticide resistant corn) and genetic manipulation of animals (i.e. bovine growth hormone). We will use as our discussion base, current newspaper and magazine articles to be distributed in class. Each student will be responsible for part of a short presentation.
